Reason Rally


Orang-orang ateis dan tak beragama berkumpul dalam acara Reason Rally di National Mall.

Reason Rally pertama adalah sebuah pertemuan publik untuk sekulerisme dan skeptisisme agama yang diadakan di National Mall, Washington, D.C. pada 24 Maret 2012.[1][2] Pawai tersebut disponspori oleh organisasi-organisasi ateistik dan sekuler besar Amerika Serikat dan dianggap sebagai "Woodstock untuk ateis dan skeptis". Reason Rally kedua diadakan pada 4 Juni 2016 di Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C..

Para pembicara dan pementas pada pawai pertama meliputi biologis Richard Dawkins, fisikawan Lawrence M. Krauss, musisi Tim Minchin, pemandu acara MythBusters Adam Savage, pemeran-pelawak Eddie Izzard, Paul Provenza, PZ Myers, Jessica Ahlquist, Dan Barker, pesulap James Randi, dan lain-lain.[3] Grup musik rock punk Bad Religion melakukan pementasan dan tokoh-tokoh terkenal lainnya (Rep. Pete Stark, Sen. Tom Harkin, pelawak Bill Maher, pesulap Penn Jillette) menyampaikan pesan kepada kerumunan lewat video.
