Real Portugis

Sebuah koin emas 500 reais, raja Sebastian dari Portugal (1557-1578).

Real (pengucapan bahasa Portugis: [ʁɨˈaɫ], artinya "kerajaan", jamak: réis atau [arkaik] reais) adalah sebuah unit mata uang Portugal dari sekitar tahun 1430 sampai 1911. Mata uang tersebut digantikan oleh dinheiro pada peringkat 1 real = 840 dinheiro dan uang itu sendiri digantikan oleh escudo (sebagai hasil dari revolusi republik pada 1910) pada peringkat 1 escudo = 1000 réis. Escudo kemudian digantikan oleh euro pada peringkat 1 euro = 200.482 escudo pada 2002.
