Rasputitsa

Rasputitsa (bahasa Rusia: распу́тица; secara harfiah berarti "musim jalan rusak")[1] adalah musim lumpur yang terjadi di berbagai wilayah pedesaan di Eropa Timur,[2] ketika pencairan salju yang cepat atau pencairan tanah beku dikombinasikan dengan cuaca basah di musim semi, atau hujan lebat di musim gugur menyebabkan kondisi berlumpur yang membuat perjalanan di jalan tidak beraspal menjadi bermasalah dan bahkan berbahaya.[1][3]

Rasputitsa telah berulang kali memengaruhi perang dengan menyebabkan kendaraan militer dan artileri terperosok ke dalam lumpur. Sehubungan dengan kondisi umum musim dingin, rasputitsa dianggap membebani kampanye militer Prancis Napoleon pada tahun 1812 dan Nazi Jerman selama Operasi Barbarossa, serta semua pihak yang berperang dalam invasi Rusia ke Ukraina pada tahun 2022.[3]
