Randall Thompson (April 21, 1899 - 9 Juli 1984) adalah seorang komposer dari Amerika, terkenal karena karya-karya paduan suara nya.[1] Dia masuk Harvard University, menjadi asisten profesor musik dan direktur paduan suara di Wellesley College, dan menerima gelar doktor dalam musik dari University of Rochester Eastman School of Music.[1] Dia melanjutkan kariernya dengan mengajar di Curtis Institute of Music (menjabat sebagai Direktur di sekolah itu pada tahun 1941/1942), University of Virginia, dan juga di Harvard University.[1] Dia adalah seorang anggota kehormatan dari Rho Tau bab Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia di Appalachian State University.[1]
