Pinidae adalah subkelas dari Equisetopsida dalam pengertian yang digunakan oleh Mark W. Chase dan James L. Reveal dalam artikel mereka tahun 2009 "A phylogenetic classification of the land plants to accompany APG III."[1] Subkelas ini mencakup konifer. Subkelas Pinidae setara dengan divisi Pinophyta dan kelas Pinopsida dalam klasifikasi sebelumnya. Terdapat lebih dari 600 spesies Pinidae di seluruh dunia.
