Phil Moore (20 Februari 1918 – 13 Mei 1987) adalah seorang pianis jazz, pengaransemen orkestra, ketua band, dan artis rekaman Amerika.

Biografi

Phil Moore merupakan seorang yatim piatu dan ditempatkan di sebuah rumah sakit negeri di Portland, Oregon. Ia masuk Cornish School dan University of Washington di Seattle. Saat Moore berusia 13 tahun, ia bermain piano di tempat-tempat kecil[1] di Portland.[2] Kemudian, ia mendukung Lena Horne, Frank Sinatra,[3] Bobby Short, Marshal Royal, Irving Ashby,[4] Julie Wilson, Gene Sedric,[5] Les Hite, dan Helen Gallagher.[6] Ia mengaransemenkan musik band besar untuk orkestra Tommy Dorsey dan Harry James.[7]
