Periscope adalah adalah aplikasi streaming video langsung Amerika Serikat untuk Android dan iOS yang dikembangkan oleh Kayvon Beykpour dan Joe Bernstein dan diakuisisi oleh Twitter, Inc. sebelum diluncurkan pada 2015.

Beykpour dan Bernstein datang dengan ide untuk Periscope saat bepergian ke luar negeri pada 2013. Beykpour berada di Istanbul ketika protes pecah di Lapangan Taksim. Dia ingin melihat apa yang terjadi di sana, jadi dia beralih ke Twitter. Sementara dia bisa membaca tentang protes, dia tidak bisa melihat mereka.[4] Mereka memulai perusahaan pada Februari 2014, dengan nama Bounty.
