Penghakiman Salomo

Penghakiman Salomo adalah sebuah cerita dari Alkitab Ibrani dimana Raja Salomo dari Israel memberikan keputusan terhadap dua wanita yang sama-sama mengklaim ibu dari seorang anak. Salomo membongkar perasaan dan hubungan mereka sebenarnya terhadap anak tersebut dengan memerintahkan agar bayi tersebut dipotong menjadi dua, dengan masing-masing wanita meraih separuhnya. Dengan strategi tersebut, ia dapat memutuskan bahwa wanita yang bukan ibunya adalah wanita yang sepenuhnya menyepakati keputusan tersebut, sementara wanita yang memang ibunya meminta pedangnya disarungkan.
