Patamon merupakan salah satu digimon yang menjadi peran utama dalam Digimon Adventure dan Digimon Adventure 02. Patamon merupakan digimon berbentuk marmut dengan telinga panjang yang dapat difungsikan sebagai sayap. Dalam tingkatan level evolusi, Patamon berlevel Rookie. Ia berevolusi dari Tokomon, dan evolusi berikutnya (level Champion) adalah Angemon. Partnernya dalam seri anime Digimon Adventure dan Digimon Adventure 02 adalah Takeru Takaishi.

Tokomon berevolusi menjadi Patamon pada episode pertama bersama dengan DigiDestined lainnya.[1] Dan Patamon pertama kali berevolusi menjadi Angemon pada episode 13 dalam pertarungan melawan Devimon.[3]
