Parasitiformes adalah superordo Arachnida, yang membentuk satu dari dua bagian kelompok utama caplak dan tungau, bersamaan dengan Acariformes. Parasitiformes sebelumnya pernah diklasifikasikan sebagai ordo atau subordo.[1][2]

Masih belum pasti apakah Parasitiformes dan Acariformes berkerabat dekat, dan pada banyak analisis, mereka diketahui berkerabat lebih dekat dengan araknida lainnya. Salah satu anggota yang paling terkenal dari kelompok ini adalah caplak, tetapi Mesostigmata adalah kelompok yang paling beragam dengan lebih dari 8000 spesies yang telah dideskripsikan, yang mencakup spesies yang penting secara ekonomis seperti Varroa destructor.
