PackBot

PackBot didemonstrasikan oleh militer Prancis

PackBot adalah serangkaian robot militer buatan iRobot, sebuah perusahaan robotik internasional yang berdiri pada 1990. Lebih dari 2000 buah dipakai di Irak dan Afghanistan.[1] Mereka kemudian dipakai lagi untuk membantu pencarian sayap World Trade Center setelah 9/11 pada 2001.[2] Instansi lainnya dari teknologi PackBot diterapkan kepada pembangkit listrik tenaga nuklir Fukushima yang rusak setelah gempa bumi dan tsunami Tōhoku 2011 di mana mereka mula-mula ditempatkan di situs tersebut.[3] Pada November 2014, U.S. Army merombak ulang 224 robot iRobot 510.[4] Teknologi PackBot juga dipakai dalam kolaborasi dengan Nasa untuk rover dan probe mereka.
