PLOS (Public Library of Science; PLoS sampai 2012 [1]) adalah sebuah penerbit jurnal ilmiah akses terbuka mengenai ilmu alam, teknologi, dan karya tulis ilmiah dibawah lisensi isi bebas. PLOS didirikan pada tahun 2000 dan meluncurkan jurnal pertama mereka, PLOS Biology, pada Oktober 2003.

Hingga 2022, PLOS telah merilis 12 jurnal akademik,[2] termasuk tujuh jurnal yang diindeks di Science Citation Index Expanded, dan tujuh jurnal yang diberi peringkat dengan sebuah faktor dampak.

Jurnal-jurnal PLOS termasuk kedalam Directory of Open Access Journals, dan merupakan anggota dari Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association, yaitu penerbit dan pendukung yang berpartisipasi pada Initiative for Open Citations dan anggota dari Committee on Publication Ethics.
