Dalam osteologi, osteon atau sistem Havers (setelah Clopton Havers) adalah unti fungsional dasar sebagian besar tulang padat. Osteon kurang lebih berbentuk silindris, umumnya berdiameter 0.25 mm sampai 0.35 mm.[1] Panjangnya umumnya sulit didefinisikan,[2] tetapi perkiraannya berkisar dari beberapa milimeter[3] hingga sekitar satu sentimeter.[1] Struktur ini hadir di banyak tulang di kebanyakan mamalia, dan beberapa spesies amfibi, burung dan reptil.

Masing-masing osteon memiliki lapisan-lapisan konsentris, atau lamela, yang terdiri dari jaringan tulang padat yang mengelilingi sebuah saluran pusat, yang dikenal sebagai saluran havers. Saluran ini mengandung suplai darah tulang.
