Neoaves adalah klad yang terdiri dari semua burung modern (Neornithes), kecuali Paleognathae dan Galloanserae. Diversifikasi awal cabang neoavian terjadi dalam waktu yang cepat, dan upaya untuk menyelesaikan hubungan filogenetik telah menyimpulkan beberapa kesesuaian tetapi banyak mengandung kontroversi.[1][2]
