Mutoskop

Mutoskop adalah sebuah perangkat film awal, yang diciptakan oleh W.K.L. Dickson dan Herman Casler[1] dan kemudian dipatenkan oleh Herman Casler pada 21 November 1894.[2] Seperti Kinetoskop buatan Thomas Edison, perangkat tersebut tak diproyeksikan di layar lebar dan hanya menyediakan tontonan untuk satu orang pada satu kesempatan. Lebih murah dan sederhana ketimbang Kinetoskop, sistem tersebut, yang didagangkan oleh American Mutoscope Company (kemudian American Mutoscope and Biograph Company), cepat mendominasi bisnis acara.
