Mu Leonis

Mu Leonis (μ Leo / μ Leonis) adalah salah satu bintang di rasi Leo. Mu Leonis adalah bintang kelas K3 dan bermagnitudo 4.1. Bintang ini berada pada jarak 133 tahun cahaya dari Bumi.

Etimologi

Bintang ini memiliki nama tradisional Rasalas (Ras Elased Borealis) dan Alshemali, berasal dari kalimat Ras al Asad al Shamaliyy, bahasa Arab رأس الأسد الشمالي ra’s al-’asad aš-šamālī "kepala sang singa di sebelah utara". Nama lainnya untuk bintang ini adalah:
