Monstrilloida adalah sebuah ordo kopepoda dengan distribusi kosmopolitan di samudra dunia. Ordo ini hanya mencakup satu famili, Monstrillidae. Nama genus yang paling pertama dideskripsikan dari ordo ini, Monstrilla, berasal dari kata Bahasa Latin yang berarti "monster kecil", karena mereka tidak memiliki ciri diagnostik umum kopepoda, yang membuat bingung takonom awal.[3]
