Misofonia

Misofonia, artinya "benci suara", dicetuskan pada 2000 sebagai kondisi di mana emosi, pikiran dan reaksi fisik negatif timbul akibat suara-suara tertentu. Misofonia tak diklasifikasikan sebagai gejala psikiatris atau pendengaran, sehingga berbeda dari fonofobia (ketakutan akan suara). Tak ada kriteria diagnostik standar, dan sedikit riset soal bagaimana gejala tersebut terjadi atau pengobatannya.
