Misedashi

Misedashi (店だし, membuat masyarakat bisnis) di Jepang adalah sebuah acara di mana seorang shikomi (orang yang ingin menjadi geiko) menjadi maiko (orang yang berpenampilan geiko) dan secara resmi mengawali kiprah mereka. Setelah acara tersebut, maiko akan dituntun sepanjang jalan raya oleh seorang otokoshi-san (penata busana laki-laki) ke guru mereka dan okiya lain untuk berterima kasih atas dukungan mereka dan memulai debut mereka.
