Minbar adalah aplikasi untuk GNU/Linux yang menunjukkan waktu salat tiba. Software ini berjalan di belakang layar sebagai ikon tray dan akan memainkan "athan" (panggilan untuk salat) bila sudah waktunya salat. Minbar bekerja dengan metode perhitungan utama, Persatuan Islam (default), Syafi'i dan Hanafi.[1] Ummat Islam diwajibkan untuk salat lima waktu dan Minbar membantu mengingatkannya.[2]
