Metamorphoses
Metamorphoses (dari bahasa Yunani Koine μετά meta dan μορφή morphē, bermakna "perubahan bentuk"), adalah sajak naratif Latin yang terdiri dari lima belas buku dan ditulis oleh penyair Romawi Ovidius. Metamorphoses menceritakan sejarah dunia mulai dari penciptaan sampai pendewaaan Julius Caesar dalam bentuk yang agak mitologis. Metamorphoses diselesaikan pada tahun 8 M dan dianggap sebagai mahakarya dari Zaman Emas Sastra Latin. Pada Abad Pertengahan, Metamorphoses adalah karya klasik yang paling banyak dibaca. Pada masa modern, naskah ini juga banyak memengaruhi budaya Barat.
