Matthew John Lowton (lahir 9 Juni 1989) adalah seorang pemain sepak bola berkewarganegaraan Inggris yang bermain untuk klub Burnley biasa bermain pada posisi bek dan gelandang.
Lowton memulai karier juniornya di Leeds United dan Sheffield United[2] kemudian memulai karier seniornya di klub tersebut, sempat dipinjamkan ke Sheffield[3] dan Ferencváros sebelum pada tahun 2012 bergabung dengan Aston Villa.[4]
