Matthew David Lewis (lahir 27 Juni 1989) adalah seorang aktor Inggris, yang cukup dikenal saat ia berperan sebagai Neville Longbottom dalam film Harry Potter.
Biografi
Lewis dilahirkan di Leeds, West Yorkshire, Inggris. Ayahnya bernama Adrian dan ibunya bernama Lynda Lewis. Ia memiliki dua kakak, Chris Lewis, seorang editor televisi, dan Anthony Lewis, seorang aktor dan musisi.
Matthew sudah berakting sejak ia berusia lima tahun. Ia memulai karier aktingnya dengan beberapa adegan kecil dalam program-program televisi dan kemudian mencoba untuk memerankan Neville Longbottom. Untuk perannya sebagai Neville, Matthew mengenakan pakaian gemuk, gigi kuning dan tidak beraturan, sepatu yang berukuran lebih besar dua angka, dan potongan plastik di telinga untuk lebih merekatkan. Hal ini untuk memberi gambaran karakter yang lucu.[1]
