Matthew Adam Garber (25 Maret 1956 – 13 Juni 1977[1][2]) adalah aktor asal Britania Raya. Ia dikenal sejak berperan sebagai Michael Banks dalam film Walt Disney Mary Poppins.

Kehidupan awal

Matthew Adam Garber lahir pada 25 Maret 1956 di London, Stepney. Garber lahir dari kedua orang tua dengan riwayat penampilan di atas panggung. Garber memiliki riwayat pendidikan dari sekolah dasar St Paul's di Winchmore Hill dan sekolah menengah atas highate di highate, North london, dari September 1968 hingga Juli 1972. Garber memiliki adik laki-laki bernama Fergus Garber yang lahir pada tahun 1964, tahun dimana Matthew memainkan Michael banks. Nama ayahnya tercatat di sekolah lamanya sebagai Louis Leonard Garber.[3] Matthew digambarkan sebagai seorang anak yang ceria dan penuh semangat pada press release Disney tahun 1967.
