Margilan (bahasa Uzbek: Marg‘ilon / Марғилон; bahasa Rusia: Маргилан) adalah kota yang terletak di provinsi Fergana, Uzbekistan timur. Kota ini terletak pada ketinggian 487 meter di atas permukaan laut.

Pada tahun 1999, kota ini memiliki jumlah penduduk sebesar 143.600 jiwa.

Menurut legenda Eropa, Margilan didirikan oleh Aleksander Agung. Pada pemberhentiannya untuk makan siang, ia disuguhi ayam (murgh; dalam bahasa Persia مرغ) dan roti (nan; dalam bahasa Persia نان), yang menjadi asal nama kota ini.

Dalam sejarah, kota ini menjadi pemberhentian penting dalam Jalur Sutra.

Di Margilan, terdapat pabrik sutra tradisional, yaitu Pabrik Sutra Yodgorlik.
