Margay (Leopardus wiedii) adalah kucing tutul asli di Amerika. Dinamakan untuk Pangeran Maximilian dari Wied-Neuwied, margay adalah hewan soliter dan nokturnal yang lebih suka bagian terpencil hutan hujan. Meskipun pernah diyakini rentan terhadap kepunahan, IUCN sekarang mendaftarkannya sebagai "hampir terancam". Hewan ini tersebar di hutan hujan dari Meksiko ke Argentina. Mereka diburu terutama untuk bulu mereka dan ini telah mengakibatkan penurunan populasi yang besar, mereka rata-rata sekitar 14.000 tewas setahun. Hilangnya habitat mereka juga merupakan bagian penting dari penurunan ini.[3]
