Richard Howe, Earl Howe ke-1

Earl Howe adalah gelar yang dibuat dua kali dalam sejarah Britania untuk anggota keluarga Howe dan Curzon-Howe. Keluarga Howe merupakan keturunan dari John Grubman Howe dari Langar, Nottinghamshire. Ia menikahi Annabella, putri tidak sah dari Emanuel Scrope, Earl Sunderland ke-1. Putra mereka, Scrope Howe, duduk sebagai Ksatria Shire untuk Nottinghamshire. Tahun 1701, ia diangkat menjadi Peerage Irlandia sebagai Baron Glenawley dan Viscount Howe. Viscount kedua juga mewakili Nottinghamshire di Majelis Umum dan menjabat sebagai Gubernur Barbados. Ia menikahi Charlotte, Baroness von Kielmansegg, keponakan dari George I. Lord Howe dilanjutkan oleh putranya, Viscount ketiga.
