Looking Backward: 2000–1887 adalah sebuah novel fiksi ilmiah utopia karya Edward Bellamy, seorang jurnalis dan penulis dari Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts; novel tersebut pertama kali diterbitkan pada 1888. Menurut Erich Fromm, Looking Backward merupakan "salah satu buku paling luar biasa yang pernah diterbitkan di Amerika".[1]
Buku tersebut merupakan buku dengan penjualan terbaik terbesar ketiga pada masanya, setelah Uncle Tom's Cabin dan Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ.[1]
