"Lips Don't Lie" adalah lagu oleh penyanyi asal Amerika Serikat Ally Brooke, yang menampilkan rapper asal Amerika Serikat A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Singel ini dirilis pada 24 Mei 2019 melalui label Atlantic Records dan Latium Entertainment.[2] Lagu ini ditulis oleh Artis Dubose, Oscar Görres, Brooke, Elof Loelv dan Madison Love,[3] dan diproduksi oleh Loelv dan Görres.[4]

Latar belakang

Brooke mengatakan bahwa ia pertama kali mendengar lagu ini pada Agustus 2018, dan ia ingin merekamnya langsung setelah mendengar beberapa detik pertama. Ia merekam lagu ini pada 29 Oktober 2018.[5] Pada 15 Mei 2019, Brooke mengunggah tangkapan layar dirinya sendiri saat mendengarkan lagu ini.[6]

Video musik

Video musik resmi untuk "Lips Don't Lie" dirilis bersamaan dengan singelnya, pada 24 Mei 2019.[7] Video tersebut menampilkan Brooke mengenakan sejumlah warna lipstik dan kuku berhiaskan permata, menyanyikan lirik lagu ke kamera yang diperbesar; A Boogie wit da Hoodie juga muncul di seluruh video dan menyanyikan syairnya.
