Lewis Shepard Stone (15 November 1879 – 12 September 1953) adalah seorang pemeran Amerika yang dikenal atas perannya sebagai Hakim James Hardy dalam serial film Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer karya Andy Hardy dan sebagai seorang pemain kontrak MGM.
Kehidupan awal dan karier
Lahir di Worcester, Massachusetts dari pasangan Bertrand Stone dan Philena Heald Ball, rambut Lewis Stone berubah menjadi abu-abu secara prematur (dikabarkan pada usia 20 tahun). Lewis bertugas dalam United States Army pada Perang Spanyol-Amerika, kemudian kembali berkarier sebagai penulis. Ia kemudian mulai berakting. Pada 1912, Stone meraih kesuksesan dalam drama populer Bird of Paradise yang dibintangi oleh Laurette Taylor. Drama tersebut kemudian difilmkan pada tahun 1932 dan 1951. Karier Stone terinterupsi oleh Perang Dunia I di mana ia kembali bertugas dalam United States Army pada bagian kavaleri. Ia tampil dalam film First National tahun 1920 Nomads of the North untuk memberikan dampak baik dengan memerankan Polisi Kerajaan Kanada.
