Lamba

Lamba atau tabelo adalah perhiasan kepala khas Sumba berbentuk tanduk yang memiliki kemiripan dengan perhiasan bula molik asal Pulau Rote. Di Sumba Timur, perhiasan ini umumnya dikenal sebagai lamba, sedangkan di Sumba barat dikenal dengan sebutan tabelo. Lamba berbentuk seperti tanduk yang terbuat dari emas atau perak pipih dan digunakan di depan dahi pada saat upacara tertentu baik oleh laki-laki atau perempuan.[1] Lamba dihias dengan gambar adegan/lambang tertentu seperti penunggang kuda, hewan-hewan dan simbol misterius lainnya. Lamba juga dapat ditambah dengan juntaian perhiasan kanatar.[2]
