Keāhole Point adalah titik paling barat dari pulau Hawaii. Kona International Airport dipindahkan dari kota itu ke utara kota Kailua-Kona pada tahun 1970 ketika landasan pacu yang lama diubah menjadi Old Kona Airport State Recreation Area. Nama Keāhole berasal dari kata Ke ʻāhole sejak ditemukannya ikan ʻāhole (Kuhlia sandvicensis) dekat daerah tersebut.
Di antara bandara dan pantai terdapat Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii. Sebagian besar area terbentuk pada tahun 1801 oleh aliran lava Hu 'ehu 'e dari Huālalai. Aliran ini memperluas garis pantai hingga sekitar 1 mil, menambah sekitar 4 km2 area dari pulau tersebut. Titik paling selatan dari titik ini sering kali dinamai Kalihi Point.
