Kama (Dewanagari: काम; IAST: Kāma) adalah suatu kata dalam bahasa Sanskerta dan Pali yang berarti "hubungan intim" atau "hasrat, keinginan, kemauan" dalam literatur India.[2] Kama sering kali mengacu kepada gairah dan keinginan seksual dalam sastra kontemporer, tetapi pemahaman konsep itu dapat meluas kepada nafsu, hasrat, semangat, kenikmatan fisiologis, kepuasaan akan seni dan keindahan, kasih sayang atau cinta, dengan atau tanpa konotasi seksual.[3][4]
Kama merupakan salah satu tujuan hidup manusia menurut tradisi Hindu.[5] Ia dipandang sebagai tujuan penting dan menyehatkan dalam kehidupan manusia apabila dicapai tanpa mengorbankan tiga tujuan lainnya: darma (kehidupan benar, layak, dan bermoral), arta (kemakmuran, kesejahteraan, mata pencarian benar) dan moksa (aktualisasi diri, kebebasan, kemerdekaan).[6][7] Empat tujuan hidup tersebut dinamakan Caturpurusarta.[8]
