Jerman Muda

Jerman Muda (bahasa Jerman: Junges Deutschland) merupakan sebuah kelompok dari beberapa penulis asal Jerman yang ada sejak sekitar tahun 1830 hingga 1850. Kelompok ini pada dasarnya adalah ideologi pemuda (mirip dengan apa yang melanda di Prancis, Irlandia, Amerika Serikat dan Italia). Pendukung utamanya adalah Karl Gutzkow, Heinrich Laube, Theodor Mundt dan Ludolf Wienbarg; Heinrich Heine, Ludwig Börne dan Georg Büchner juga dianggap sebagai bagian dari pergerakan tersebut. Kelompok yang lebih besar termasuk Willibald Alexis, Adolf Glassbrenner, Gustav Kühne, Max Waldau dan Georg Herwegh.[1]
