Jellore


Jellore adalah sebuah perahu tradisional Sumatra. Perahu-perahu ini panjang dan sempit, dan dilengkapi dengan cadik ganda yang menonjol cukup jauh dari samping.[1] Kadang-kadang mereka hanya memiliki sebuah cadik, yang diatur secara bergantian melawan arah angin dan searah angin.[2] Perahu-perahu ini bersistem layar tanja. Ketika layarnya digulung sebagian, ujung-ujung kedua bom melengkung ke bawah dan dimasukkan ke pelampung cadik (katir).[3]
