William James Remar (lahir 31 Desember 1953) adalah seorang aktor Amerika Serikat. Dia telah bermain sebagai Ajax di The Warriors (1979), Albert Ganz dalam 48 Hrs. (1982), Dutch Schultz di The Cotton Club (1984), Jack Duff di Miracle on 34th Street (1994), Richard di Sex and the City (2001–2004), dan Harry Morgan, ayah dari karakter utama di Dexter ( 2006–2013). Sejak 2009 ia telah melakukan pekerjaan sulih suara di iklan mobil mewah Lexus.[1] Remar belajar akting di Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre di New York City.
Pada tahun 1984, ia menikah dengan Atsuko Remar.[2] Mereka memiliki dua anak, Jason dan Lisa.[3][4]
