Itaweret

Itaweret (Ita Tua) merupakan putri raja Mesir kuno yang hidup pada zaman Dinasti kedua belas Mesir sekitar 1850 SM. Dia dikenal dari pemakamannya di sebelah piramida Raja Amenemhat II di Dahshur. Pemakaman itu ditemukan utuh dan berisi peti mati kayu yang dihias dan kotak dengan teks-teks keagamaan yang lebih panjang termasuk namanya. Beberapa perhiasan pribadi juga ditemukan di makam.[1] Lokasi makam mungkin menunjukkan bahwa dia adalah putri Amenemhat II, tetapi bukti terakhir tidak ada.[2] Yang luar biasa adalah patung kayu angsa yang ditemukan di apartemen pemakamannya.[3]
