Latar Belakang

Pada tahun 2009, Nick Jonas merekam lagu untuk soundtrack Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.[2] Karakternya, Nate Gray, menyanyikan lagu ini untuk Dana (Chloe Bridges) yang memerankan orang yang disukai Nate.[3] Pada 6 Agustus 2010 lagu ini dirilis di Inggris.[4] "Introducing Me" juga dirilis pada tahun 2010 di permainan video karaoke, Disney Sing It: Party Hits.[5]

Penerimaan

Pada 10 November 2010, penyanyi Jason Mraz mengakui dalam sebuah wawancara bahwa lagu Camp Rock 2, "Introducing Me" terdengar sangat mirip dengan lagunya "I'm Yours".[6] Dia juga berkata: "Saya mendengar lagu itu, dan nada itu sangat mengerikan," katanya, "Saya melihat beberapa kesamaan dalam melodi, tetapi tidak sampai untuk berdebat dengan seseorang tentang hal itu.
