Intef I adalah penguasa lokal di Thebes, dan anggota dinasti kesebelas Mesir Kuno pada Periode Menengah Pertama. Ia menjadi firaun dengan nama Horus Sehertawy, ('Ia yang membawa ketenangan pada dua negeri').[2] Intef I adalah putra dari Mentuhotep I. Kekuasaannya ditentang oleh nomark-nomark Mesir lainnya. Pada saat naik takhta, Intef hanya menguasai wilayah sekitar ibu kotanya. Pada akhir kekuasaannya, ia telah menguasai Koptos, Dendera, dan tiga nome Hierakonpolis.[2]
Ia digantikan oleh saudaranya Intef II.
