IndieAuth

IndieAuth adalah protokol autentikasi terdesentralisasi berbasis standar terbuka yang menggunakan OAuth 2.0. Protokol ini memungkinkan suatu layanan untuk memverifikasi identitas pengguna yang direpresentasikan melalui sebuah URL pribadi, serta memperoleh token akses (access token) yang dapat digunakan untuk mengakses sumber daya (resources) yang berada di bawah kendali pengguna.[1][2]

IndieAuth dikembangkan oleh komunitas IndieWeb dan diterbitkan sebagai W3C Note oleh Social Web Working Group.[3] Statusnya sebagai Note disebabkan keterbatasan waktu untuk memprosesnya menjadi rekomendasi resmi W3C, meskipun telah tersedia beberapa implementasi yang saling kompatibel.[4]
