Helmond, adalah sebuah gemeente Belanda yang terletak di provinsi Noord Brabant. Pada tahun 2021 daerah ini memiliki penduduk sebesar 92.624 jiwa.

Kota Helmond

Pemukiman pertama di daerah itu sekitar tahun 1000 dan Helmond diberikan hak kota sekitar 1232. Pusat Helmond memiliki kastel yang dibangun oleh Jan III van Berlaer sekitar 1350. Helmond memiliki banyak perusahaan tekstil. Pabrik Vlisco[1] terletak di sebelah kanal Zuid-Willemsvaart yang merentangi kota.

Helmond adalah tuan rumah dari tim sepak bola profesional Helmond Sport.
