Gregory Mathews

Gregory Macalister Mathews CBE FRSE FZS FLS (10 September 1876 – 27 Maret 1949)adalah seorang ornitologis amatir dari yang menghabiskan sebagian besar hidupnya di Inggris.

Kehidupan

Mathews lahir Merrygoen dan besar di Biamble di New South Wales.[1] Dia merupakan anak kedua dari pasangan Robert Hamilton Mathews dan Mary Sylvester, née Bartlett. Dia pernah bersekolah Singleton Grammar School dan The King's School yang berlokasi di Parramatta. Mathews meninggal pada tanggal 27 MAret 1949 di Winchester karena kanker.[2]
