Gradus (unit)
Gradus (bahasa Latin: pl. gradūs) (atau "Step" ("Langkah") dalam bahasa Inggris) adalah unit ukuran panjang pada zaman Romawi Kuno yang setara dengan 2½ pedes atau ½ Roman pace (passus). Mengikuti standardisasi pada zaman Agrippa, 1 Gradus = sekitar 0,81 yard atau 0,74 meter.
Langkah Bizantium (bahasa Yunani: βήμα, bḗma) adalah adaptasi dari langkah Romawi, yaitu = 2½ kaki Yunani.[3]
Serupa dengan unit ukuran 1 langkah di Amerika = 2½ feet atau 30 inci.
