Go-oo adalah sebuah perangkat lunak open source hasil forking dari kode sumber OpenOffice dengan beberapa pengayaan fitur. Penyempurnaan lain pada Go-OO versi 3.2.1-11 adalah kompatibilitas dengan format dokumen milik pengembang office suite komersial, dalam hal ini Microsoft Office. Melalui penambahan dukungan XML menggunakan OpenXML, aplikasi gratis ini mampu membuka dan menyimpan berkas kerja yang berformat .docx (Microsoft Word), .xlsx (Microsoft Excel), maupun .pptx (Microsoft PowerPoint).

Satu hal yang cukup istimewa bagi para pengguna komputer adalah penggunaan aplikasi ini yang diberikan secara cuma-cuma, meskipun kekayaan fitur dan tampilannya belum dapat menandingi program populer seperti Microsoft Office.

Perangkat lunak ini tidak lagi dikembangkan dan diteruskan oleh LibreOffice sejak September 2010.
