Freedom of Mobile Multimedia Access

Freedom of Mobile Multimedia Access (FOMA) adalah nama merek layanan telekomunikasi 3G berbasis W-CDMA yang ditawarkan oleh penyedia layanan telekomunikasi Jepang NTT DoCoMo. Ini adalah sebuah implementasi dari Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) dan merupakan layanan 3G pertama di dunia untuk operasi perdagangan.

NTT DoCoMo juga menawarkan layanan HSPA bermerek FOMA High-Speed (FOMAハイスピード), yang menawarkan kecepatan mengunduh sampai 7.2 Mbit/s dan kecepatan mengunggah sampai 5.7 Mbit/s.[1]
