Fort Halstead

Fort Halstead adalah sebuah pusat penelitian milik Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, sebuah badan penelitian di bawah Kementerian Pertahanan Britania Raya. Fort Halstead terletak di puncak North Downs, Kent, dekat kota Sevenoaks. Lokasi ini dibangun pada 1892, dan awalnya merupakan bagian dari rangkaian benteng yang dibangun di sekitar kota London, dan dapat ditempati tentara sukarelawan jika terjadi ancaman. Selanjutnya, lokasi tersebut menjadi kantor Projectile Development Establishment (Badan Pengembangan Proyektil), lalu Kementerian Pemasok, dan Royal Armament Research and Development Establishment (RARDE).[1]
