Florin Firenze adalah sebuah koin yang digunakan dari 1252 hingga 1533 tanpa perubahan signifikan dalam desain atau standar kandungan logamnya selama waktu tersebut.[1] Koin tersebut memiliki 54 biji emas murni atau halus (3.5368 gram, 0.1125 ons troy)[2] dengan sebuah daya beli yang sulit diperkirakan (dan variabel) tetapi berkisar dari sekitar 140 hingga 1000 dolar AS modern menurut pengelompokan sosial dan perspektif.
