Flight controller

Pengendali penerbangan atau Flight controllers adalah personil yang memberi bantuan pada penerbangan ruang angkasa dengan bekerja sedemikian pada NASA's Mission Control Center atau ESA's European Space Operations Centre. Pengendali penerbangan bekerja di konsol komputer dan menggunakan telemetri untuk memonitor berbagai aspek teknis dari misi ruang secara real time.

Setiap kontroler adalah seorang ahli di daerah tertentu dan terus berkomunikasi dengan para ahli tambahan di "ruang belakang". Direktur Penerbangan, yang memimpin pengendali penerbangan, memonitor kegiatan tim pengendali penerbangan dan memiliki tanggung jawab keseluruhan untuk keberhasilan dan keselamatan.
