FASTER

FASTER adalah Kabel komunikasi bawah laut yang sedang direncanakan di Samudera Pasifik, di mana diperkirakan selesai pada kuartal kedua tahun 2016 dan menggunakan biaya $300 juta. Kabel tersebut memiliki kapasitas 60 Terabita per detik. Panjang total dari kabel tersebut sepanjang 9,000 kilometer.

Perusahaan yang terlibat dalam proyek ini adalah China Telecom Global, Global Transit, KDDI, SingTel, NEC (pensuplai) dan Google.[1]

FASTER memiliki lokasi pendaratan kabel di Chikura dan Shima di Jepang dan di Bandon, Oregon
