Eric Shaw adalah seorang penulis televisi Amerika dan bekas penulis untuk SpongeBob SquarePants,[1] sebuah acara televisi populer di Nickelodeon. Berasal dari Jericho, NY, ia menuntut ilmu di Jericho High School dan lulusan dari Columbia University School of General Studies.[2] Ia telah menjadi seorang penulis animasi sejak 2003 dan juga telah menulis untuk Skunk Fu, Krypto the Superdog, Sid the Science Kid, My Friends Tigger and Pooh dan acara animasi terkenal lainnya. Ia dikenal karena menulis musim kelima dan keenam dari SpongeBob SquarePants. Sebagai seorang staf penulis, Eric telah menulis lebih dari 50 episode SpongeBob.[3][4]
